We%26#39;ll be traveling from Bordeaux to Paris at the end of our trip and will have about 1/2 day before our flight home. Any recommendations for a hotel/gite outside of Paris, closer to CDG, but not necessarily at the airport? Also, any recommendations on a place to visit that day?

This question has been asked on the forum a number of times and the answer always is - find a place to stay in Paris and enjoy your time. Take a taxi back to the airport if your flight is early.
Perhaps your situation is different - please give a bit more information.

We will already have spent 8 days in Paris prior to going to Bordeaux for 8 days, which is why I am looking for a place outside of Paris. Also, this is our 4th time visiting Paris and although we love it there, we would like to branch out and see other areas as well.
