Hi We want to use Lille as our base and then travel by train to various places, I was thinking Brussels, paris, Calais, Dunkark, Boulogne. Can you advise if this is wise with two children under 4 and half and any other place destination within easy reach of Lille. i believe Rotterdam and Cologne to be over 3 hours so not a day trip.
