Myself my partner and three children will be arriving at Nantes Airport on 1/08/09 but how do we get from there to Le Clarys Plage without paying £338 for return taxi only seating four????????

Have a look at the trains there is a fairly regular service and a not to great a cost if you cannot work round the french train timetable you can go throgh the london office

you can get a train or bus from nantes central. they go about every 2 hours on a sunday. If train you change in Challons then bus goes to St Jean. we got a family ticket in june for €35 one way. Guess it will be a bit dearer in high season. look up web site destineo.fr or paydelaloire.fr for train times etc
