Any good quality restaurants not too pricey as we are a family of four with two teenagers. French preferably and local dishes. we will be staying on the edge of the cite don%26#39;t mind driving occasionally but not everyday.

In Carcassonne, you might like Chez Fred. It%26#39;s well priced and has very good food:

Be careful when drinking the Sangria here. It is sometimes made with too much gin (I talked them into giving me the recipe one time). A couple of glasses and you may need help making it back to your hotel.

Thanks any more sugestions would be good. As the price with the exchange will make things pricy so want a few choices as I hear there are many average places in the Cite. I have read the reviews of Chez fred sounds good how far is it to walk if we are staying near the edge of the cite?
