Jules Verne Lunch of Dinner for View

Irregardless of the cost of a meal at JV, can anyone comment if lunch or dinner is preferable? I understand the lights can pose an issue at night when looking out. Although at night poor weather would have less impact on the view.

Any thoughts?

I like to go there for lunch.

At night, true light can be a problem unless you have a reservation after sunset and you can see the tower blink around you.

Good views from above are also from Arc de Triomphe,

Towers at notre Dame (morning is best), bar at Concorde Lafayette at Porte Maillot or top of tour Montparnasse.

We went in the evening in Summer and got both the day and night views. It was quite light when we arrived at 7.30pm and we were still there when the first %26quot;twinkling%26quot; happened. IT was still not quite dark when we left but dark enough that I could not take a handheld picture of the tower.
