Has anyone stayed in Brive la Gaillarde for a period of time, let%26#39;s say 3 weeks. If so, what is there to do, and is not having a car a problem? Thank you, jilk

I suspect not many people stay in Brive for 3 weeks. It is not an unpleasant town, but you would get to know it really well in that length of time. Its main advantage is that it is a major hub for rail routes and therefore as a centre for day trips for people without a car. A few of the intersting places you can get to quite easilly are Limoges, Perigueux, Cahors and Figeac. There are also a host of attractive smaller towns.
