Weather forecast for week commencing 29th June in Nice

Hi all,

Does anyone know what the weather is forecasting for th following week, depending which site I look at there are various forecasts but it seems a lot of rain and thunderstorms, I hope not, can%26#39;t wait to see the sun and swim in the sea.

Thank you

It is a potentially thundery time of year but after thunder clouds yesterday its a beautiful clear blue sky and sunny day today

We visited exactly at this time last year. Each day, the hotel reported the possible weather, and there was a chance of rain. However, we experienced 5 days of the most beautiful weather. We had the best time ever, and I would expect that you will, too.

In a typical July there are two days on which rain falls, almost always in the form of thunderstorms. It would be astonished if it is any different this year.

Why don%26#39;t you Google Meteo.fr and then enter Nice as the site. They will provide you with the information (including daily high and low temperatures, anticipated wind strength and direction) using easily understood symbols.

After years of observing what%26#39;s predicted and what actually happens on the day in Nice, I%26#39;ve concluded weather forecasts are an informed guess at best and frequently wrong. If you are able to get local TV when you are here, watch out for the Meteo de Plage -forecast for the coast, which is often different from a mile inland.

I wouldn%26#39;t let it get your hopes up, or down. Just go with whatever. I once cancelled a trip as the forecast predicted seven days of heavy rain. Complete rubbish, turned out fine each day.

Nice is very unusual weather prediction wise becuase of its geography with the bay in front and the surrounding mountains behind

During unstable weather periods the predictions are often 100% wrong -this applies winter or summer

Other places on the coast can be predicted more accurately- eg antibes
