We are flying in to La Rochelle on Sunday lunchtime and will need to buy some supplies at a supermarket near the airport. We are heading to St Palais de Phiolin. Many thanks!

Hi , unfortunatly all supermarkets in La Rochelle will have closed by sunday lunchtime. Your best option is to stop off at the Total garage at Beaulieu on the edge of town (it has a mini mart which sells a good range of basics bread, meat, cheese, drinks etc) which is on the N11 (follow signs from airport to Niort).
All supermarkets will be open again monday morning.
France is not really geared up to working sunday yet....
