Zebra Square

Hi all,

Has anyone eaten at Zebra Square in Paris? I%26#39;m looking at going there for a birthday meal when we are in Paris later in July, but wanted some low down on the atmosphere, quality of food, wine and service. Price is not too much of an issue within reason, but definately don%26#39;t want anything too pretentious.

I also read it has a terrace to eat out on when nice, but can%26#39;t see any mention of this on their actual website.

Thanks in advance.

Could you give more details? Zebra Square doesn%26#39;t appear in the Paris Yellow Pages. Maybe it has another name?

It%26#39;s part of the Hotel Square, near the Maison de la Radio?

3 RUE DE BOULAINVILLIERS, PARIS 16

Thanks again.

Zebra square is a trendy restaurant, where you will meet a lot of journalists as it is next to Maison de la Radio. The food used to be average but there is a new cook since 2008; I had a company dinner there that was good.

There is no terrace though. if you want a really great terrace, get to La Gare instead; it is a former train station and the huge terrace is on the former platforms (quiet place as it is below the street level).

Thanks for the tip!

Our first %26quot;real%26quot; meal in a Paris restaurant was at the Zebrz Square. Between our sketchy French and the server%26#39;s great understanding we were able to have a great meal there. Nothing spectacular, but very nice all in all. You will have a good time.
