Hello. I realize that this might not be comparing apples and apples, as Victoria Palace is a more expensive hotel. However, I would like to get a comparison of the neighborhoods. What I like about the the Royal Saint Michel is that it is only one block from the Seine (3, boulevard Saint Michel). Victoria Palace is 1.1 miles from the Seine (6, rue Blaise Desgoffe). This might not be a problem, if the Victoria Palace is in a beautiful neighborhood. We%26#39;re not sure which neighborhood has more charm. We would like to walk around at night, close to our hotel, and take in the wonderful Parisian ambiance. If anyone cares to compare the actual hotels, that would be helpful, too!
