Arriving Nice, 20:30 Wednesday August 26th, need to catch 13:00 plane to Venice August 27th. Where to stay? Will only have a few hours that night to catch late dinner, then several hours to do breakfast before getting to the airport.
What would you suggest????

In your position I would stay bedside the train station at Ibis Nice Centre Gare and catch the 99 to and fron the airport [if the plane is late catch the 98 bus and request gare sncf [garr ess enn say eff]
Loads of places to eat nearby - I suggest Voyageur Nissart about 5 mins walk

Thursday morning take the tram down to the old town and see the market, colline de chateau , old town etc etc
