Good day everyone.
I would like and very much appreciate advice on where to purchase Train tickets from Rome with an overnight stop in Paris then off to London. This trip will be occuring first week of August 2009.
I%26#39;ve googled and have only found http://www.raileurope.com as the place to purchase multicity train tickets. RailEurope has quoted $676 for the Rome-Paris-London Trip. Is this accurate and a good buy?
We understand flying is the more conventional way to travel, but we would like to experience traveling by train.
All advice and suggestions are welcomed. Thanks in advance.

$676 is a very high price for this trip. RailEurope is an agency which is well-known for its high fees.
Assuming you want an overnight train from Rome to Paris, go to artesia.eu/english/train-travel/destination-… . Travel in a two-person sleeper compartment is currently €175 per person.
If you want to travel by day, you would have to use www.trenitalia.com for travel from Rome to somewhere near the Italy/France border, and www.voyages-sncf.com from there to Paris.
For Paris to London, book through www.eurostar.com . At the moment, one-way tickets in early August start at £40.
For all these trains, except any wholly within Italy, the price is less if you book early.
By the way, €175 + £40 comes to about $312 US. Less than half the quote from RailEurope.
