How do we get from cruise ship dock to train/bus station?

What is cost for R/T to Quimper? Is the train better than the bus? We speak no French. Thanks.

There are rgional trains and buses between Brest and Quimper taking between 1 hour and 1.5 hours. However they do not run at regular intervals and the timings are for the use of locals rather than tourists, for examle there are no services between lunchtime and late afternoon. We were able to get a train from Brest train station to Quimper last Monday. The train left around midday and took about an hour and ten minutes at a cost of €10 a head. The train station in Quimper is about a 10 minute walk to the old town. On returning to Brest there were fewer direct trains but there were %26quot;cars%26quot;. To the rest of us this means that you get a bus instead of a train. This journey by bus adds about 20 minutes to the return journey.
