I am taking my 80 year old mother to Paris in September. Her first visit, my second. I would like to get some input on navigating CDG and thoughts on accessibility. My mother is in relatively good shape for her age; but she is 80. On a good day, she can walk about 1.5 to 2 miles before needing to rest but tends to rely on inertia to keep going. When moving slowly in a grocery store she leans on the shopping cart.
I am thinking of taking a wheeled walker with a fold down seat for her. Are there any restricitions on these in any museums, transportation or resteraunts? We are also planning on taking the RER from CDG to the apartment we are renting on Ile de Cite. Good or bad idea?

Don%26#39;t take the RER. Take a taxi. It%26#39;s around €60 from CDG to Ile de Cite, but you avoid steps and other hassles.
