Hello, I am in europe and am looking to find a one way ticket from paris to nyc in late Aug. right now the best fare i found is on xl airways but i never heard of this airline and the website is only in french. Does anyone know anything about this airline or a way to book in english or does anyone know any other good prices for a one way ticket. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. thanks

The only XL Airways I have heard of is the one that went into bankruptcy last summer - a British registered company that ran an airline as well as a travel company.

XL Airways France was part of the XL Leisure Group which went into Administration last year.
The French part of the business was bought from the Administration and now trades as a separate business.
Following the sale though I don%26#39;t know how successfully it is trading but the French part of the business was profitable - it was only the UK group that was insolvent.
