left luggage

I%26#39;m arriving at La Rochelle airport on a sunday morning in January, however my conecting train dosent leave until 4pm. Is there anywhere to leave my luggage while I explore the area?

I am sure there will be left luggage facilities or lockers at the miain station in LaR and suggest you try there as it would not be sensible to leave luggage at the airport as you will have to go there and back. Lost to see in LaR in a day thogh most shops will be closed by=ut the aquarium will be open. Have a good stay

Have you organised your transport from the airport to the Railway Station ???

there are NO TAXIS that stand there in-fact there is no taxi rank for them

The biggest planes that arrives there are the Ryanair ones

AFAIK there are left luggage lockers at the station but I don%26#39;t think they can handle suitcases maybe a backpack

Sorry can%26#39;t be of more help as we have only usedthe airport once when we hired a car from there to travel onward we normally pass by La Rochelle as we go further South with our Touring Caravan to Montendré as our regular stop

There is a taxi rank at airport and there are left luggage lockers at the station. You could call for advice on the station number +33 (0)3635. Its a pity its not on a weekday as some of the shops in the st nicholas area offer a left luggage service when the shop is open eg Planete Blue Bookshop.

That%26#39;s too bad for travelers to La Rochelle that you removed our posting. It is our first time sharing information on trip advisor. We have friends who post on this site %26amp; who encouraged us to post about our recent trip to La Rochelle. Anyway, we found out about our guide from the tourist office who helped us make the trip easy and memorable. Cheers, MC

where is it ??

I spend well over an hour outside waiting for my return flight to the UK (the roads were clearer than even I expected) and I could not find anything other than car parking or it it a new feature at the airport ?

Directly outside airport there is a turning circle which is for taxis, not to be confused with the car park which is a left turn as you approach the airport

Can anyone confirm yes or no whether there is anywhere in LaR I can leave luggage? I%26#39;m going by motorbike next month and don%26#39;t fancy lugging sleeping bag et al around the city with me! I%26#39;ll be mobile and moving on that evening so can be wherever, not bothered about being in the station or anything.

Hi, are you just coming for the day? or camping overnight? I totally understand the luggage issue being a pillion.

I will ask around to see if there%26#39;s a solution, but it would help to know your plans. Cheers
