Car Hire on Sundays

Carrying on with the Sunday questions :)

Trying to book a rental car for pickup at the airport on Sunday. Most of the sites I have checked say that their desk is closed on Sunday and that an extra charge is required because of this.

Has anyone any experience of hiring a car on Sundays? Was it smooth? Was there a representative from the car rental company there at the correct time?

We are flying in from Edinburgh on a Sunday too. We managed to get car hire at www.atlastchoice.com, they%26#39;re open on Sundays at the airport and are very reasonable. Good luck, we need to find a supermarket now ...

Hi there, just bear in mind the actual building (its more like a portacabin just outside the entrance) is normally unmanned on sundays and they arrange to bring your car to you. I can answer your question about supermarkets in your other post. cheers

Just back from a glorious week in France, had a lovely relaxing time :)

With regards to the car hire on Sunday it was a breeze! I booked with National, even though the desk was closed on Sundays the reps arrived at the desk right at the time we requested the car hire to start.
