Street Theatre

Any suggestions of places where there is always street theater taking place such as mime, jugglers. We are staying nearing Sacre Coeur but will be traveling all over Paris

We saw a fair number of street performances near the St. Michel fountain (just at the Seine on the border between the Latin Quarter and St. Germaine des Pres). I can%26#39;t say there are always performers there, but we saw a few.

Typical spots:

1. in front of the Louvre on rue Rivoli

2. steps of Sacre Coeur

3. on the bridge b/t Ile de Cite and Ile St Louis (behind Notre Dame)

4. in the plaza in front of Pompidou

Please feel free to tip true performers and artists, and NEVER tip those using animals or children. How might you suppose these are kept still and quiet for hours on end?

But if you don%26#39;t tip the animal acts, how will the animals ever get fed...??? They have to pay for the vet bills and lavish acommodations somehow, ya know...
