Best way to get to hotel from CDG

Hello, This is our first trip to Paris and was wondering how to get to our hotel Villa Luxembourg, 121 Boulevard du Montparnasse from CDG. Thank you.

You could take a taxi for around €50, or a train for €8.60 per adult.

For train, at the airport follow the signs for %26quot;RER trains to Paris%26quot;. At the station, buy tickets for central Paris and get on the train. Get off at Denfert Rochereau and change to metro Line 4 towards Porte de Clignancourt. Get off at Vavin, which Google Maps shows is the closest station to your hotel.

Another choice would be the Air France bus for about 14 euro, then a cab from your drop off point. There are 4 lines for the bus and a map posted where they pick you up so you can decide. Then too is a shuttle. I use Yellow Van at a cost for 1 person of 27 euro, more than one is less and it is right to your door. You can view shuttles on line.

The Port-Royal RER stop looks close to your hotel (one stop before Denfert-Rochereau, mentioned by the poster above), and if that is the case, simply take the RER to that stop and walk the rest. The RER is reasonably easy with luggage but the metro is less so (although certainly doable). Anyway, check your hotel address on Google maps to confirm my advice.

Thank you for all the different options to get to our hotel.

May I ask, should we purchase visite pass at the airport that morning or would we be better off to preorder and have them mailed to our home before we arrive. We arrive at 6am so will have lots of time before check-in time at our hotel.

We are staying 14 nights so we will have to reload the pass at least once if not twice but I better not get ahead of myself and just start out with a 5 day pass. We are trying to plan our days first before deciding which pass is most suitable.

If you want Paris Visite passes, there is no point in buying in advance and paying to have them delivered. You can get them at any metro station.
